Elissar Haikal Nooh is a worldwide-collected Syrian-Lebanese painter. Professionally in the art domain since 2001, first as an artisan designing & handcrafting jewellery out of old Persian carpet fragments and vintage metal for her Beirut-based studio (2006 -2010), collaborating with galleries & artisans in Beirut, Paris, Oslo, Amsterdam, and Istanbul.

 

Self-taught and experimental, visual art is her passion. Her paintings are included in private and public collections around the world and have made their way to Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Mongolia, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Seoul. 

 

Elissar has also collaborated with American rock band Goose. The jam band's Fall 2023 EP album features one of her paintings as its cover to represent the music project both online & offline.
